Namibia Tour packages are modular
Modular tours allow for an exciting way to experience this vast country with an extraordinary array of wildlife and natural attractions. Most tour packages can be extended by adding sectors that showcase a different region or interest. Due to the possibility of combining tour packages, passenger numbers, and tour guides may vary in a tour consisting of more than one module.

Comfortable, air conditioned vehicles
As Namibia is predominately desert terrain, expect rough and dusty gravel roads and high temperatures. Vehicles are by design not completely dust-proof.

Climate

  • Namibia is a semi-desert country with a generally dry climate.
  • Average summer temperatures (October to April) vary from 20 - 34°C (daytime) and drop to about 18°C at night. Summer is the main rainy season. Unevenly distributed throughout the country, rain normally falls in short thunderstorms. These can cause roads to be washed away and rivers to be flooded. In this case itineraries might have to be re-scheduled at short notice.
  • Average winter temperatures (May to September) vary from 18 - 24°C (daytime) and drop to about 0 - 10°C at night. Frost occurs. A winter jacket is advisable.

With some of the greatest natural scenery on the continent, Zambia is a blend of gently undulating plateaus of forests, savannah and marshland - studded with lakes and impressive waterfalls.

Botswana is a land-locked country about the size of France. Two thirds of the land is arid Kalahari savanna - unsuitable for agriculture. Large areas have been set aside as wildlife reserves and these include some of the very finest in Africa.

The magnificent Okavango Delta - in which Moremi Wildlife Reserve is set - fans out across the north-western corner and creates a paradise of islands and lagoons teeming with birds and wildlife.
